by Richard Lawler, posted Aug 6th 2008 at 11:19AM Although it seems like every TV shipping recently comes with USB ports and DivX compatibility packed in, if all you want is the ability to plug in a drive and play, the Iomega ScreenPlay TV Link may be right for you. Equipped with the same HDMI / component / composite outputs plus WAV, WMA, MPEG-1/2/4, MP3, OGG, AC3, AVI, DivX, XviD and JPEG file formats as the ScreenPlay HD, this unit forgoes the 500GB hard drive — a far cry from the old ScreenPlay days when it was just a HDD — in favor of a sleek 3.26 x 3.07 x .78-inch profile weighing less than 4 oz. Plug in your USB flash drive or FAT32 or NTFS formatted HDD and play or upconvert SD content up to 1080i with no problem. by Joshua Fruhlinger, posted Aug 6th 2008 at 10:17AM That’s right, kids, T-Mobile launched 3G data in Vegas this morning. The 1700MHz AWS 3G network went live for phones that can hit the UMTS 3G data stream, and if your phone is one of those, you may want to look for the pretty little icon and start doing some Intertron browsing. Hulu first added their HD gallery back towards the end of last year and sadly it has remained pretty empty since. However, I suppose good things come to those who wait, and are patient. Hulu has just added a little extra content to the gallery, the new content comes in the form of 720p quality TV shows. There is now a selection of full length episodes of Heroes, 30 Rock, 24 and The Office. Hulu has still not added any full length movies, so aside from the few available shows, the overall content is very light. Just some movie clips, a few nature and documentary titles and a few sports episodes. Hopefully with some time, the HD gallery will fill out a little more. It’s hard to lie your way out of being late with all of the clocks we have in our lives. Our cellphones, our watches, all of the novelty clocks we’ve collected over the years which litters are homes. Our bosses just don’t buy that excuse anymore. But here’s an idea. Ditch every other clock you have. The cellphone withdraw will be hell, but if you need an excuse, we’ve got a gadget for you. The Clock Delay is a time piece which looks like you need a physics degree to decipher. A set of three revolving wheels cycles around in a perpetual fashion which only time can create. But here’s the catch. Reading the time is as easy as looking at the center junction point where the circles meet. (Read the full post about ‘Clock Delay: A Gadget Born For Blame’…)

by Darren Murph, posted Aug 6th 2008 at 8:54AM For the longest time, Luxeed’s eye-tingling keyboards were only available on the other side of the planet. Now, however, the Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard is finally for sale on US soil. We’ll spare you the completely irrelevant Optimus Maximus links — after all, this thing only allows you to tweak the colors of each individual key — but those obsessed with lighting up their gaming area without using those boring incandescents will certainly find plenty to love. I had a chance to try out the Mint 220 Digital Music Station, and I found it plays better than most iPod docks with clear and terrific sound. I was very amazed at one amazing feature of this device. It came with a wireless transmitter key that I plugged in to my computer via USB. In a matter of seconds, the sounds that would normally play from my computer were playing wirelessly from the speakers on the Mint. There was no CD Rom necessary to install this wireless feature, nor was there any waiting for some software on the transmitter key that slowly downloaded. It plugged and played in every fast sense of the catchphrase. This feature is possible through Texas Instruments PurePath Digital Audio, which is good for up to 45 feet (15 meters). Waking up can be quite a chore for some of us, but sometimes the right tunes can get us out of bed much faster compared to the traditional ringing of an alarm clock, and Memorex has stepped up to fill this need with the Mi4019 and iWakeUp) alarm clocks that feature buzzer, ipod and radio options to make rolling out of bed a much more pleasant experience.
Memorex Mi4019 Alarm Clock
When everything serves a double purpose, the Memorex Mi4019 alarm clock’s compact design not only leaves space on a nightstand or dinner table, but also charges and plays all the user’s favorite songs from his or her iPod.

by Darren Murph, posted Aug 6th 2008 at 6:37AM As you’ve surely heard (and hopefully confirmed for yourself) by now, The Dark Knight is a runaway hit. So much so, in fact, that a number of manufacturers have figured it prudent to crank our hardware with the iconic Batman logo front and center. Next in line for admission on the bandwagon seems to be Microsoft, which apparently showed off a “limited edition” (read: likely one of a kind) Dark Knight Xbox 360 over in Taiwan. We know, you want the details — eventual release dates, a price, the works. Unfortunately for us all, we’re stuck with just that image above and hope for the future. Hey, at least you can let your imagination run wild.[Via IGN]Read PermalinkEmail this19 CommentsFi (Read the full post about ‘The Dark Knight Xbox 360 spotted in the wild’…)
